The Go2 is the robot dog that made four-legged robots affordable. It follows you, climbs stairs, handles slopes and maps its surroundings with a 4D LiDAR dome on its head.
Go2 Pro or Go2 X?
Go2 Pro ($3,790): the one most homes should buy. Same LiDAR, same battery size, same 1–2 hour runtime.
Go2 X ($7,600): a little faster (8.3 vs 7.8 mph), carries more at its limit, and has a quick-swap battery. Worth it if you'll run it for long sessions or want US dealer support for heavier use.
The honest catch
It's a companion and a showpiece, not a guard dog. It isn't waterproof, runtime is short, and deeper programming needs the far pricier EDU model.
Verdict
The Go2 Pro is the best way to get a real robot dog into your home. Skip the X unless you need the swappable battery.
