About NovaNorth
NovaNorth is an independent showroom and buyer's guide for home robots. We cover the machines you can own today, like robot vacuums, lawn mowers, pool cleaners and robot dogs, and the humanoids arriving next.
Who's behind NovaNorth
NovaNorth is run by Josh W., a tech enthusiast with a background in IT. He started NovaNorth because buying a robot today means wading through spec sheets, sponsored "reviews" and prices that change weekly, and the humanoids coming next are even harder to track. NovaNorth puts it all in one place, in plain English.
How we research
We're upfront about how our picks are made:
- Maker specs, checked. We read the official spec sheets and cross-check them against retailer listings, because launch specs often change.
- Independent reviews and owner reports. We read hands-on reviews from independent testers and real owner feedback to find the catch the ads leave out.
- Prices tracked, not guessed. We show list prices and link to current prices, because robot prices move constantly.
- Clear about what we haven't tested. We don't run a lab, and we never claim hands-on testing we haven't done. When we do get hands-on time with a robot, we'll say so on that page.
What we do
- Put every robot under the lights. Each one gets a specifications page with its price, status, specs and the honest catch.
- Track the humanoids. NEO, Optimus, Figure and the rest move fast, and we update the tracker as news breaks.
- Compare head to head. When two robots compete for the same spot in your home, we put them side by side.
How we make money
We don't sell robots. When you buy or reserve through a link on NovaNorth, the retailer or maker may pay us a commission. As an Amazon Associate, NovaNorth earns from qualifying purchases. It costs you nothing extra, and no brand pays for placement or a better verdict. Read the full affiliate disclosure.
