Watch the Aiper Scuba S1
The Scuba S1 is the cheapest cordless pool robot we'd consider that cleans walls and the waterline, not just the floor.
What it does well
-
Three zones: floor, walls and waterline.
-
No cord: drop it in and let it run.
-
Value: the most cleaning capability per dollar in Aiper's lineup.
The honest catch
Real-world runtime is about 60–70 minutes, well short of the claim. Wall climbing can be inconsistent and very fine silt can pass through the filter.
Verdict
A solid budget pick for small to medium pools. If you can stretch, the Beatbot AquaSense 2 Pro runs far longer and skims the surface.
